Most Americans don’t share Rick Santorum’s absolutist take on abortion. He’s out of step on women in combat. He questions the values of the two-thirds of mothers who work. He’s even troubled by something as commonplace as birth control – for married couples.  A Catholic father of seven whose kids are home-schooled, Santorum may seem to wear his conservatism as comfortably as his sweater vests. But he’s walked a careful path, keeping the more provocative opinions that helped sink his re-election to the Senate in 2006 mostly out of his presidential campaign.

Now Santorum’s record on social issues is getting a closer look. On several matters, he’s outside the Republican mainstream. And if he becomes the GOP nominee, some of his ideas would probably be surprising, even puzzling, to general election voters.”  here

And “most Americans” definitely do not share the “absolutist” Marxist views of Obama and the Democrats either.  But is that ever a problem with Liberals?  Most Americans, over 60%, did not want and still do not want, the socialist “Obamacare” forced upon them.  Did you see the Democrats at all concerned with with that mandate?

If anyone is “out of step” with America, it is the Socialist Democrat Party who see nothing beyond governments reach.  No law, no mandate, no rule is beyond the scope of government intervention.  That is clearly un-American.

Mr. Santorum is a practicing Catholic, so unlike Nancy Pelosi, he holds by the doctrine of the Catholic church, whether non-catholics do or not.  And as in the case of all liberal Catholics who don’t abide by the church doctrine, it is supposed to be a ‘requirement’ to be even be a ‘Catholic in good standing’.  Not once has Santorum suggested that government take legislative control over birth control, so that’s simply a phony issue drug out by Democrats, who have little positive on which to run the Obama record.  Thus, the ‘straw man’ is thrown out, chewed up and spit out in an attempt to personal destroy a good, honest man (by all reports).

Democrats and the nasty, sex consumed, abortion loving liberals who make up the majority of their electorates, have had one goal for 70 years – personal destroy any Republican or conservative.  They’re unable and incapable of allowing anyone to have religious or moral views – especially anyone wearing the tag of “Christian”.  Their vile and venom directed at these people is disgusting, petty and has been simmered in hatred.  They’re shameless in their constant, ‘made- up- for- prime-time’ attacks.
I have no doubt Santorum would make a fine President and leader, capable of not long ‘leading’ (something Obama can’t do) but would do so with moral and ethical standards.  Something Democrats revile.

It’s also interesting that Liberals have no problem with a liberal Catholic, like Pelosi, the Kennedy’s and a slew of others…. that’s because their first religious dedication is to the Holy Church of Liberalism, and not the any brick and mortar church . .  or God.  Their sacrament is abortion, followed by a good dose of birth control and celebrated by homosexual marriage – none of which is endorse by the Catholic church.

I’m not a Catholic, nor have I ever been one, but I can show a modicum of ‘respect’ for a persons beliefs, regardless of how I feel about them (exception being: Islam  There’s much wrong with their beliefs that endanger other people).

The Liberals spent months vilifying Mitt Romney and his Mormonism, which needed to be drug through the dirt in the typical Liberal “open minded” manner.  Now it’s Santorum’s turn.  Who will be next?  Anyone who’s a Republican and has the gall to express religious values and appreciations.
